FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

1. "I have submitted my application on your website. What happens next?"

All applications submitted through the Alistair Group Careers Page are processed through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Shortlisted candidates will be requested to complete an aptitude test through ClassMarker or Predictive Index (PI). Please note that in rare instances, the recruitment processes may differ depending on the position and business requirements.

2. "What assessments will I be required to complete?"

Depending on the role, applicants may be asked to complete one or more of the following assessments:

  • ClassMarker Aptitude Test – evaluates logical reasoning, language proficiency, and numerical ability.
  • Predictive Index (PI) Assessment – evaluates cognitive and behavioural aptitude Candidates are required to successfully complete the relevant assessments in order to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process.

3. "Will I receive my assessment results?"

Candidates who complete a Predictive Index (PI) Assessment will receive only their behavioural results immediately after completing the test.

Please note that results for the ClassMarker Aptitude Test are not shared with applicants. Candidates will instead be notified whether they have progressed to the next stage of the recruitment process.

4. "I missed the assessment email or deadline. May I still complete the test?"

Yes. Assessment invitations are typically valid for a limited period. If you were unable to complete the assessment within the allocated timeframe, please reply directly to the recruitment team member who contacted you to request assistance or reactivation.

5. "I have completed my assessments. What is the next step?"

Once your assessments have been completed, our recruitment team will review your results together with your CV and experience against the requirements of the role. If your profile matches the position requirements, a member of the recruitment team will contact you regarding the next stage of the process, which may include an HR interview, hiring manager interview, or additional assessments.

6. "How long does the recruitment process take?"

The recruitment timeline may vary depending on the role, location, and number of applicants. Some positions may require additional interview stages or assessments. If you have not received feedback within 30 days of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.

7. "How will I receive feedback regarding my application?"

Candidates will be contacted by the recruitment team via email, WhatsApp, or telephone regarding the outcome of their application or next steps in the recruitment process.

8. "I have been asked to provide references. Does this mean I will receive an offer?"

Reference checks form part of the final stages of the recruitment process and indicate that you are being seriously considered for the role. However, reference checks do not guarantee that an offer will be made. A final hiring decision will only be made once all recruitment steps have been completed.

9. "May I email my CV to Alistair Group for future opportunities?"

All vacancies are advertised on the Alistair Group Careers Page and applications must be submitted through the online application system or candidates may create a profile and upload their CV to be a part of the Alistair Group Careers database. Applications submitted via email will not be considered, as all applications are required to be processed through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for quality and compliance purposes.
